Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

A wonderful company – one of the very few that still designs and produces proper wooden jigsaw puzzles the old-fashioned way, with special ‘whimsy’ pieces - and also uses modern laser technology for accurate, quality cutting.

Challenges included there being severe constraints on shooting the products so that they looked good. Needing to look classic and upmarket, but to also communicate the fun, excitement and family time the puzzles enabled.

We designed and copywrote two catalogues, USA and UK, addressing their different cultural approaches and different versions of the brand proposition. We included brand messaging panels, benefit-led panels, picked out unique details, included calls to action, and added enough (but not too much) brand personality – giving interest and variation throughout.
