At TA Design we are proud of our reputation for top quality creativity.

So we work hard, to give our clients the very best thought, design, copy - whether the finished items are catalogues, brochures, mail packs, website skins or emails. But we also know that your work place must also be a fun place, so we are lucky to have a team of people who are so nice and supportive, as well as talented. It makes all the difference when we want feedback on a creative concept, when we're working together to meet a deadline, or when we're kicking back and having a leisurely lunch in the pub!

Tony Adams (Founder & Creative Director)

Tony Adams is Founder and Creative Director of TA Design Ltd. He set up TA Design in 1993 and has built an impressive client list with his talented team. Tony started his career with Freemans, where his work included responsibility for advertising, direct mail as well as producing the very first specialogues seen in Britain. (We're pretty sure he came up with the name.)

He may call it 'colouring in' but his work continues to be at the cutting edge of the industry, applying the latest techniques and best practice. With 30 years practical experience, Tony remains passionate about the added value that exceptional catalogue design can bring to any business. And as a very hands-on designer himself, he puts that theory into practice every day.

His total commitment to our sector is demonstrated by his being an ECMOD Judge and DCA Board Member, where he also lectures regularly as part of his focus on putting something back into the industry. Tony adds: "With well over 1,500 catalogues designed, and every one a unique challenge - it's the best job in the world!"

Kelly Pomar (Senior Designer)

Kelly is a highly experienced graphic designer, using her skills to produce design that is creative, follows the brief and, most importantly, is consistent with the brand.

With over 12 years of experience, she has worked on a wide range of projects and for all our clients. She is comfortable on any part of the design project journey, aided by her passion for creating stunning design.

She is highly committed to completing jobs accurately and on time. Her creativity, reliability and sense of humour make Kelly an invaluable member of the TA team.

Bobbie Cook (Designer)

Bobbie has been with us for over eight years. She arrived as a proficient artworker, but has taken advantage of our in-house training to become a talented and valued designer.

She is an excellent and patient communicator on the phone, whether explaining what we need to less knowledgeable clients, or working through detailed client amends.

Her outgoing personality keeps our spirits up however busy we get.

Rachel Barker (Designer)

Rachel is a confident and well-qualified creative designer who can work calmly, quickly and well under pressure – whilst still retaining creativity and accuracy.

With a wide range of experience in a variety of agencies before joining us, Rachel has shown herself to have excellent abilities in all the usual software, as well as having good communication skills.

As a recent addition, Rachel has already proved to be a popular and considerate team member who thrives on responsibility and new challenges.

Katherine Nicholas (Business Development)

Katherine brings a broad business perspective to the team, having worked at a senior level in both the public and charitable sectors.

Her extensive experience in management, fundraising and service development offers a fresh insight into everything we do.

Unfailingly warm and caring, she keeps the team chilled and balanced, while also developing new business, and monitoring and upgrading our systems.

James L. Clarke (Brand, DM & Copy Consultant)

James is a highly respected brand consultant and copywriter, with huge experience in every business sector and marketing medium, both print and digital.

A firm believer in effective communication and with a heritage in Direct Marketing, he always goes the extra mile - whether in challenging a brief, giving perceptive insights, chiselling pinpoint brand guidelines and positioning, or developing persuasive copy that's on-brand and targeted to the channel and the audience.

Intelligent and empathic, his quiet charm belies his enormous experience at the highest level in brand positioning and direct marketing, enabling him to always grasp the bigger picture.

His experience includes co-founding and later heading up a leading direct marketing agency, and he is a Life Fellow of both the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) and the Royal Society for the Arts (RSA).
